Can I cancel my order?

You can get a full refund when you cancel up to three months before the booking date. If you cancel between four weeks and three months from the commencement of the booking date we offer a 50% refund or 100% credit toward a future hire. Under four weeks from the booking date there will be no refund or credit

What is the excess on the insurance?

The excess is $2000 for anyone 25 and over. For under 25s the excess is $5000. You can completely remove the excess charge with the third party Rental Cover.

Where can I pickup the Kombi?

Melbourne We usually drop the vans in the city, but we are based in Narre Warren – feel free to pickup from there. Sydney We usually drop off in the city, but we are based in Somersby – so feel free to pickup from there.

What happens if I cancel my booking?

To share these beauties around and be fair to other Kombi users a fee of 50% of the booking cost applies to all cancellations. If you have pre-paid in full you will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made inside of four weeks of the booking date incur a charge of 100% of the total booking so there will be no refunds. In certain circumstances we may offer a part refund and part credit towards a future hire but this will be at our discretion.

When do I need to pay the deposit?

Bookings require a $500 deposit to be paid 2 weeks prior to pickup. You will be refunded this upon return of the Kombi in it’s original condition.

How do you offset carbon emissions?

We currently focus our efforts on plating trees around the Amazon. This one is close to our hearts, so in future we do plan on looking for the most efficient carbon offset programs. At this point it is wise to get the best ROI for tree planting given the current ecological situation. We do this quarterly and invest in One Tree Planted.
